Today my five and three year old had their first appointment at McMillan Family Dental (we moved from Northern Idaho). I picked this dentist because I saw on the website that they help with sleep disorders. From the books in the waiting room to the knowledgeable staff, they really do understand and care about sleep! Our amazing dental assistant, Rozzlynn took down all my notes, took great care making my kids comfortable, and worked tirelessly to keep my one year old entertained. Dr. Gerard was exactly what I didn’t know I needed on my team of care providers! My kids have had trouble sleeping their whole lives and although we are working with an ENT over large tonsils and adenoids (reactive care) he jumped right on board with plans, information, and possible ways to fix their palate and ensure future good health, good sleep and good breathing. One of my biggest pet peeves is doctors with “God complexes.” I was very happy to get the polar opposite in Dr. Gerard, as I learned ways he is constantly continuing his education on sleep disorders and possible solutions.
