Quality Dental Veneers in Meridian
Veneers are wafer-thin layers of dental materials that can be used to improve or correct a range of cosmetic flaws. They are applied to the front surfaces of teeth and are typically only used for the teeth that are visible when smiling. Veneers are normally applied over the course of two appointments. The first will be when our dentist removes a tiny amount of enamel from your teeth (about a couple of millimeters). Our dentist will then take detailed impressions of your teeth and place a temporary veneer. The impressions will be sent to a dental lab where your custom-made veneers will be fabricated. They will be applied and bonded with a cementing solution when you come in for your second appointment.
After your veneers have bonded and dried, you can expect to return to your normal diet and routine immediately following the procedure. Veneers are also stain resistant, so you can expect the maintenance of your beautiful smile to be even easier. At McMillan Family Dental, we offer our veneers in traditional, porcelain, composite or E.MAX. We encourage you to take advantage of our cosmetic consultation for new patients to decide which option is best for you.
